Your Gut Is the Control Center
Over 70% of your immune system lives in your gut, and 80-90% of your serotonin also lives in your gut. Serotonin is your "happy" drug. Serotonin is also a precursor for melatonin, meaning you need serotonin in order to make melatonin to get to sleep. Deep sleep is where your regenerative cells are the most active.
The microbiome influences hormone metabolism, neurotransmitter production, inflammation, fertility, autoimmune regulation, and post-viral recovery. When gut health is compromised, symptoms appear throughout the body.
Signs of Gut Dysfunction
