General
Functional medicine is evidence-informed and results-focused, particularly for patients who have not found answers through conventional care alone. Outcomes depend on identifying root causes, patient engagement, and consistency over time.
Healing is a process, not a quick fix. Most patients experience meaningful, lasting improvements. While some symptoms may take a little bit of time to go away, functional medicine aims to target the underlying cause to make sure further damage doesn't happen to the body.
When you chase symptoms and only treat them, the underlying cause is still present and will usually find a way to come out in the form of a different symptom.
So, yes, Functional Medicine works!
