Inflammation Is a Silent Driver

Low-grade inflammation underlies autoimmune disease, hormone disruption, fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, and long COVID symptoms. Chronic inflammation damages tissues and drives major diseases by triggering an overactive immune response. Key effects include persistent pain (joints, chest), fatigue, digestive issues, skin rashes, and weight changes.

Long-term, it contributes to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, and depression.

Markers We Evaluate

  • Zonulin - measures intestinal hyper-permeability (What's referred to as Leaky Gut)

  • Organic acids - physical and neurologic markers

  • Gut inflammatory markers - gut, systemic, and autoimmune

Functional Medicine Focus

We identify and treat root drivers: gut permeability, blood sugar instability, nutrient depletion, immune activation, and post-viral inflammation. From there, we chose a holistic approach to healing, including: herbal products, supplements, dietary and lifestyle modifications. Strong dietary and lifestyle choices are first and foremost the greatest things you can do for yourself. Without patient compliance, we're just treading water. However, when you're really sick, it's important to find those extreme deficiencies and imbalances, and correct them. Too often, the illness has gone on long enough and the body is so depleted that we can't get enough of these nutrients from our foods. That's where we look to supplements and herbs.

Inflammation isn’t random.
